SASSY RAVEN

Meet Sassy Raven, named “Sassy” after her mother and “Raven” because of her jet-black fur. Sassy’s parents are both dual registered (AKC and CKC) and we plan to dual register Sassy as well. Both her parents are parti colored. She is so cute, adorable, and very loving.

Born on June 26, 2005, Sassy Raven came to us from a private breeder in Arkansas whose breeding program is similar to ours. The dogs are raised in the house, are well socialized, and well loved from birth to adoption. All that TLC shows up in Sassy’s disposition. She is well mannered, loves toys, and even at eight weeks, knew her name. She is now weighing 11 pounds; she will be an excellent size for producing healthy, fat little Schnoodle babies in the future!

We think you’ll agree, Sassy is very uniquely marked! She is the most uniquely marked mini Schnauzer we have ever seen—and we’ve seen a lot of Schnauzers! We believe that her parti color will make for beautiful Schnoodle babies.

Her breeder was kind enough to share some pictures of Sassy's first weeks of life. This is one cute pup! No wonder she's squirmed her way into our hearts already!

   

   

   

She flew to us on August 23, 2005 and was very glad to get out of the carrier and into our arms. Once we got home, we settled her—and Earl too—on the couch for a nap. Clearly, she has made herself right at home in the Pierce household!

   

   

   

   

Sassy Raven and Princess are close in age and have become fast friends. Here, they investigate a bug they've found and race each other around the yard. What a life!

   

Raven got her Schnauzer ear crop in early October, '05 and will be getting the tape off soon. Then she will have stand-up Schnauzer ears! The better to hear us with! As you can see from the picture of her romping around with Rikka and Princess, taped ears don't slow her down for a second!

   

Now with her ears nicely healed, Sassy Raven is one of the best looking Schnauzers we've seen. And she's such a little love to boot!
