A picture of Wangja, who's now seven years old, on a recent trip to Acadia National Park. His "dad" writes: "Wangja can hike for hours and, even though he hates swimming, he seems to like being by the water. He even adapted well, as he always does, to sleeping in our little two-man tent. I think his greatest personality trait is that he always seems willing to just 'go with the flow.'"

Ripley Williams owners write: "Ripley had a great time when we took her to the beach--ate a little bit of sand and chased some birds, but wasn't quite ready to get in the water yet. Ripley has her very own car booster seat so she can see out all the windows--she's an outward hound!! Jack Glenn's "mom" recently sent us this update: "Our sweet Jack turned 5 in May! How is that possible? He is a great Schnoodle. He is such a special addition to our family. He is smart, obedient and loving."

Princess was a Pierce Schnoodle before she found the perfect home with the Parker family of NC. She is the "Queen Bee" of the Parker household and the perfect pup!

Susan Hayes writes: "Here is a picture of Molly (in her new trim) with the kids. It is nearly impossible to get all 3 to smile and look at the camera at once; this is the best we could manage this morning!"

An update from Lucas Hardee's family: "We thought we'd send you an updated picture of Mr. Lucas from our weekend at the lake. He enjoys being outside early in the morning when the sun is shining and it is cooler." What a handsome pair these two boys are!

Sadie Reid and "big sister" Sylvie pose for a photo. Sadie's "mom" tells us that Sadie is so silly and loves tormenting Sylvie although Sylvie has so much patience that it rarely bothers her. :-)

What a handsome boy Tucker Hansen has grown up to be!

Rudy Smith's new "mom" bought him a buddy and they look JUST ALIKE! This is the cutest thing ever! Can you tell which one is Rudy?!

The same week that Tucker Hansen went home with his "forever family," North Carolina received an unusual amount of snow! As you can see, cute little Tucker donned a nice, cozy coat and headed out to enjoy some of the white stuff.

An update from Daisy Schaaf's family: "Mom got sick with pneumonia right after Christmas. She has been moved to a rehab for continued care and strengthenthing PT. Daisy visits every time I do. Daisy is the hit of the rehab. She visits many people and brings joy and happiness to all who come in contact with her. Everyday I hear how she is sooooo cute, smart, friendly, fun, happy and joyful. We couldn't agree more! Here's a pic of Mom and Daisy together in the hospital."

Over Christmas, we had a few boarders at the Pierce Schnoodle hotel. What fun it was. They played and played and were ready for bed every night. It is so great to see them when they are older. From left to right: Latte, Chewie, Steel, Tiger and Mocha. (What a challenge to get them all on the couch!)

This year, Hobbes Wickland traveled with his family to Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi, and to nearby Lake Harriet, Minneapolis. His 'mom' writes: "Hobbes is exactly what we wanted...he is big, healthy, smart, sweet, quiet, and loving."

This is Sophie Knott and her "mom," wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! Sophie's parents are Lilly and Nicki; she was born 11/24/05.

It's a dog's life! Here's Pierce Schnoodle alumn Wang-Ja enjoying a little game of fetch on a gorgeous fall day at the park.

This is Duke Dikollie on his first birthday. His family wrote to us to say that he had a great birthday and got two new toys. His Dad is Nicki and his mom is Jazzie.

These three Schnoodles are livin' the life! This update comes to us from Jo Arceneaux, "mom" to Subi (age 9), Reney (age 2) and Martha Jo, one of Lilly's puppies born in early summer 2008. Mom writes: "Martha Jo has completed our family, we are so happy that we have her. She is our little sweetheart!!!"

Well if this picture doesn't showcase the heart of a Schnoodle, then I don't know what does! Small, but optimistic!! This photo and update comes to us from Daisy Schaaf's owners who write, "She really is very smart and great fun. Everyone who meets her thinks she is the cutest puppy they have ever seen."

This is Murphy Campbell who reguarly visits the Pampered Pet Salon and he is SO HANDSOME!!! What an awesome Schnoodle! Murphy was born in 11/05 to mom Lilly and Dad Nicki. He is a well mannered boy!

Here's Lulu Martin, sitting pretty amid summertime flowers. What a gorgeous girl she has grown up to be! Lulu was born September 3, 2007. Her mom is Jazzie and her dad is Nicki. She's quite the little lady!

Jasper Zurich was recently included in the book "Cutest Pets Around the Globe 2009." Here's the award-winning photo! Needless to say, his "mom" is proud as can be! Congrats, Jasper, from all your fans at Pierce Schnoodles.

This is Sasha, who recently boarded with us while her family was out of town. Boarding with us is always a blast for our "alumni."

Cody Block is boarding at the Pierce Hotel while mom and dad are on vacation. He is not too spoiled by resting on the bed! (ha ha) Cody is a frequent boarder and thinks of us as his second home. He was born in May 2005 (Christl is mom, Nicki is dad).

This very handsome boy is Tiger. He is the Schnoodle who owns the Comiskey family. :-) He was recently at the Pierce Schnoodle Hotel and enjoyed a trip to the Pampered Pet Salon. He is extremely handsome and an excellent example of a Pierce Schnoodle. He was born 10/24/08 (Jazzie is Mom and Nicki is Dad). What a wonderful little boy!!

This is Lucy! She is from a Raven & Rusty litter (born 6/11/07). She has awesome hair/fur...can't you tell!!! Really, she was in need of a beauty treatment and she came to the right place! (See the "AFTER" picture below...)

After her grooming, Lucy's newly-cut her fur was like thick black velvet! She has simply wonderful fur! She is a calm, very sweet girl and loves to snuggle (in the bed of course!). Recently, Lucy enjoyed all the activity at the Pierce Schnoodle Hotel! We loved having you, Lucy!!

Here is a picture of Roscoe enjoying his new 'family.' Mom, Leslie, writes: "Roscoe is soooo handsome! He's very smart too! He's a good listener and he learned to ring the bell to go outside so quickly, and with a lot of gusto. He's grown quite a bit since we brought him home, he 's over 9 pounds now, and very fuzzy."

With all the hype about what type of dog the Obama's should choose, I feel a schnoodle would make a wonderful addition to the White House. They're great for those with allergies, very smart, easily trained, great with children, very playful and lovable and have wonderful personalities."

Here's an update on Willie, who was adopted in September 2003. "Everyone who meets Willie loves him -- and he loves them right back! He has made us and our friends very happy. I enjoy visiting your web site from time to time and seeing all the different Schnoodles. Thank you for your excellent standards and especially thank you for giving us Willie."

From Enzo's owners: "Here are some recent photos of Enzo! He is fantastic and is now almost 4 months old and about 6 lbs. He is such an integral part of our family -- seems like he has always been part of the mix. Wonderful dog and a true companion. Thank you so much again!"

Nicky's "mom" writes: "Nicky has been with us 4 years and it seems like yesterday...I am teaching Kindergarten this year and plan to have Nicky visit when the snow melts.  I have shared him with my class for the past 4 years.  I tell lots of stories and then when he comes in to the classroom the kids are thrilled!!  As I write he is in my lap, as always."

An update from Bosley Linn's parents: "We have started puppy obedience classes, and Bos learns SO quickly he makes it effortless! We actually would REALLY love to look at getting him a little brother around the end of next summer. We were not sure how often you breed Rikka and Rusty together, but we would LOVE for Bosley to have a biological little brother!"

An update on Bowser Zakrzewski of NJ: "Bowser's current weight is 9 lbs. 4 oz. He has brought us so much joy. He is very smart and lovable. He loves belly rubs and snuggling with all members of our family. Thanks so much for breeding such wonderful dogs!"

Update on Nikki Rizzo: "Nikki loves to play in the yard, and is always exploring. When the day is finished, she loves to lay down on a nice soft pillow, because the leather sofa is just not soft enough for her majesty. She really is a beauty, and everyone stops me and inquires as to the type of breed she is. Her hair is just like spun gold. We enjoy her immensely, and would like to thank you again."

Lulu, the little girl of Jazzie and Nicki's September 2007 litter, recently celebrated her first birthday. She's a bouncing (literally) 13-pounder and thinks she's a big dog. Lulu loves chewing bones, fetching tennis balls, playing in the water, and having her tummy rubbed. She does all sorts of tricks and remains the darling of the neighborhood, not to mention her family!

Buster's mom writes: "I just wanted to let you know that Buster has really become a member of the family. His 'big sister' Bessie is happy to have a little brother and they spend lots of time together. He keeps up with her quite nicely. He’s quite a character."

An update from Pico's family: "Here's a picture of Pico with Sophie & Charlotte at home in Raleigh, NC. Pico loves to travel, especially to the Outer Banks and to the mountains of Virginia."

Angel's "mom" writes us from Maryland: "Angel is 5 years old. She weighs 9 pounds and is 11 inches tall. She is very healthy and smart. She loves to play. Fetch is her favorite game. She catches the ball in the air sometimes. She loves doing the Schnoodle 'zoom.' She is a joy and the love of my life. Thanks you for giving me such a wonderful little dog."

Sasha Burkle recently boarded with us. We always enjoy having our "babies" come back for a visit!!

Max Burgess sure has grown up to be a cutie! Here he is on a recent "playdate" (a.k.a. we babysat him for an afternoon) at Pierce Schnoodles.

An update from Tillie (from Lilly and Nicki's 2006 litter) : "Tillie is such a love - and she goes every day to her doggie group at 4:30 for at least 1 hour of play. Her best friends are a French Bulldog named Piper and a Schnauzer named Melou. But there are often upwards of 10 dogs there that play with each other every day. Having her in our lives has been such a blessing."

Lulu turned six months last week and is enjoying her first spring. At 10.5 pounds, she is the darling of the neighborhood and has never met a human or a dog that she does not like. She just completed basic obedience school and for her graduation trick jumped through a hoop!

A letter from Jasper's mom: "Our boy is one year old today!! Jasper started his day at doggie day care where he played with lots of dogs his size. After his day out, it was home to his party...hats, balloons, presents, and a big bone cookie cake for dogs! We hope you enjoy the pictures from his party...thank you again for bringing this joy into our lives!!"

Maisey is now 17 weeks old. Her mom recently wrote us: "Maisey loves to romp in the leaves; we still have a lot of them in our natural area, and it is so much fun to watch her hop like a rabbit through them. I've attached a picture of Robert and Maisy during one of their leaf romps!!"

An update from Brandi Moffitt: " I am now 2 years old and having a wonderful happy life. My best friend is my 9 year old sister, Blaze and we play together all the time. I keep her young. We go hiking alot and have taken several trips. I have been to Florida, Virginia, Georgia, and Michigan."

This is Angel, who lives in North Carolina. Angel is now five years old and weighs nine pounds.

An update from Bowser Zakrzewski's family: "Bowser is great with my in-laws who suffer from many ailments. He brings a smile to their faces when he is with them. My grandma, who is now 86, loves for me to stop by with Bowser. They say dogs can work wonders for the sick and elderly and I believe it! Keep up the good work raising such loving Schnoodles."

Look what Santa put in this stocking!! It's Rocky Sessoms. His mom writes: "He is such a cuddly puppy. He can do a lot of tricks and is ringing a bell to go outside. He is amazing and not spoiled at all!!! HA! HA! Happy Holidays from the Sessom family."

Jasper Zurich from New Jersey recently visited with Santa for the very first time! His mom reports that he was such a good boy...and even gave Santa a kiss!

Mollie is 10 months old in this picture and just home from the groomer. Her owners write: "We are considering a sister for Mollie. Because of the perfect demeanor and attitude Mollie has from Jazzie and Rusty, please let us know if you breed those two again. Mollie is such a sweetie and no one is a stranger to her although she is a very good watch dog."

Smoochie Clarke returned to the Pierce Schnoodle facility recently to pick up a new little "sister," named Mango. The Clarke family is now the proud owners of TWO Pierce Schnoodle puppies. Congratulations!!

And here he is - AFTER a haircut! Wow, what a handsome boy! The Whitleys send this update: "Our boys take turns with him sleeping on their bed. He is a snuggler and when it is time for play there is no stopping him. We are really enjoying him!"

Jasper now six months old and is still as cute as ever. His "parents" write: "Jasper is very happy go lucky and such a joy! We just love him to pieces!!!"

Pugsley is now six months old. He follows commands for down, off, sit, come, and stay. He even listens to our two-year-old when she gives commands! Isaac (our seven-year-old) loves to brush him and get out any matted fur - he gives Pugs little treats for sitting still! Pugsley loves to play fetch, loves to be outside with our neighbor’s dog, and just loves people.

Lenya is 2 years and 3 months old now and weighs a little more than 10 lbs. She is in perfect health. She loves her toys, taking walks, and zooming around the yard at full speed. And she loves laying in my lap—she is such a cuddler! She continues to bring all of us fun and joy. I am so glad that we found you and that you picked just the perfect puppy for us.

Mollie Slovak is three months old now. Her mom writes: "Mollie is such a delight in our life. Today I was planting tomato plants and Mollie was right with me digging too. She plays hard and sleeps hard. We are in our 4th week of puppy training classes. Mollie will sit, come when I call her or use the clicker, and responds to a few other commands."

On a recent visit to Virginia, we visited with the Matzke family and their Pierce Schnoodle, Zeke. He is a handsome little boy. He is six months old in this picture. He is doing very well and the Matzke family loves their Schnoodle!

Clara Elliott, now two years old, lives in NC. Her mom writes: "Clara is the light of our life. She has the best personality and everyone who comes to visit loves her! She is the cutest thing in the world!"
