Hey there Pierce family and doggy’s!
So sorry it’s been a long time since I’ve sent an update but Shakespeare’s still doing extremely well! He is healthy as a horse, and his new friend is my miniature horse who is slightly bigger than him named Fitzgerald.. we are keeping a theme of the authors going. (Our cat is Cs Lewis)…
Shakespeare is loving life on the farm and likes to watch the new addition of the cows grazing in the pasture. He likes to relax in the backyard and watch over his doodle brothers who romp and play.. and occasionally he will join in and bark at them as if to tell them to break it up and calm down. He’s the first to greet you for snuggles and spoons you to bed every night like a true gentleman. He absolutely loves going on adventures both on foot and in the car. And his favorite place on earth is still the beach or anywhere with natural water he can get in safely!
He goes with us everywhere and is my personal service dog to this day still. In 2023 he went with us to Chattanooga Tennessee and went underground to Ruby Falls! He’s been to Seaworld and the zoo. along with countless aquariums and always behaves like a perfect gentleman being the best boy for helping mom out.
He regularly gets groomed on a six week schedule and absolutely loves his personal mobile groomer who brings extra treats for him because he’s her favorite dog ever!! He also prefers Mom brush him out every other day when he’s long because it means extra snuggles!
